Position: Junior JavaScript/PHP Programmer
Duties and responsibilities
The Junior JavaScript/PHP Programmer supports our software development team in designing prototypes and proof of concepts for the Graphical User Interface of our award-winning line of digital music solutions.
Required skills
- Expert proficiency in
- JavaScript and PHP, including AJAX framework.
- HTML with CSS (hand-coding), as well as XML.
- Strong understanding and experience with:
- SQL and relational databases
- Linux environment
- Web server platforms, protocols, and applications including Apache
- CVS/SVN file management as well as bug management systems (e.g. MANTIS).
- Software design and documentation
- Professional expectations
- Extreme attention to detail and organization in all aspects of work
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines & multi-task with little direct supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, and a optimistic positive attitude
Education & experience
- Must have BA/BS in Computer Science or relevant field.
- At least 2 years of professional JavaScript/PHP programming experience.
